Terms of service

Last updated: 12 August 2026

These terms govern your use of Postrooster, the cross-posting and scheduling service at postrooster.com. By creating an account you agree to them. The short version: be fair, the content is yours, and we do our best to publish it exactly where and when you asked.

1. Who we are

Postrooster ("we", "us") is a social media publishing tool operated from the European Union. You can reach us any time at info@postrooster.com.

2. Your account

You need an account to use Postrooster. Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself and give us accurate information. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country if that is higher.

3. The service

Postrooster lets you write a post once and publish or schedule it to the social platforms you connect, with per-platform captions, media, a content calendar and AI-assisted drafting.

We keep improving the product. Features may change or be added over time; we will not remove core functionality you pay for without notice.

4. Connected platforms

You connect platforms through their official sign-in (OAuth). We never see your platform passwords, and you can revoke access at any time, in Postrooster or on the platform itself.

The platforms are independent services with their own terms, and those terms apply to everything you publish through Postrooster. Platform outages, API changes or review programs can limit what we can publish on your behalf; we surface that in the app whenever it happens.

Postrooster is not affiliated with or endorsed by X, Bluesky, LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Discord or any other platform.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Postrooster to publish content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive or harassing, to send spam, or to evade platform rules and rate limits. Do not probe or break the security of the service.

We may suspend or close accounts that violate this section. Where reasonable, we will warn you first.

6. Your content

Everything you write and upload stays yours. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and transmit your content, solely to operate the service, for example storing a scheduled post and delivering it to the platforms you selected.

You are responsible for having the rights to the content you publish.

7. AI features

AI-generated drafts are suggestions. Review them before publishing; you are responsible for what goes out under your accounts. Prompts and generated text are processed as described in the privacy policy.

8. Plans and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance at a flat price per plan. If we change prices, we announce it at least 30 days ahead and the new price applies from your next billing period. Prices may exclude VAT depending on your country.

9. Cancellation

You can cancel any time in your settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Deleting your account removes your data and revokes every platform connection, as described in the privacy policy.

10. Termination by us

We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these terms, abuse of the service, or where the law requires it. We give notice where reasonably possible.

11. Disclaimers

Postrooster is provided as-is. Publishing depends on third-party platforms, so we cannot guarantee that every post publishes, or publishes on the second. We do guarantee that we try hard: automatic retries, clear failure alerts and a one-click retry.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages (such as lost profits or lost reach), and our total liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and consumers in the EU keep all mandatory protections.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we notify you by email or in the app at least 14 days in advance. Using Postrooster after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, without limiting rights you have as an EU consumer, including the European ODR platform.
